FlowDesk: Ordering and Booking Website

FlowDesk is a website your customers order or book from, straight from you instead of through an app. Orders ring on a tablet in your shop until someone taps Accept. Bookings go straight to your email.

Pick ordering or booking

• Ordering, for restaurants, cafés and bakeries: your full menu with sizes, toppings and notes, pick-up or delivery, and a tablet in your shop that rings until someone taps Accept. You can decline an order and give the reason, customers get an order number and a status page, and you change the daily deals from your phone.
• Booking, for salons, barbers, studios and repair shops: your services with prices and times, customers pick a time that's open, and each booking is sent to your email with their name, phone number, service and time. No tablet needed and nothing to accept right away.

Every FlowDesk includes

• Everything in the Business Website: pages built for phones, your hours, map, tap-to-call and a contact form
• Customers pay in person, by cash or card. Nothing is charged online
• No cut taken from any order or booking
• Setup with you, in person or on a video call

You bring the domain: buy your own, like yourshop.ca, in your name for about $20 a year (or use the one you have), and I connect FlowDesk to it.

The monthly plan: $49 a month

FlowDesk takes orders and bookings around the clock, so it needs looking after. Starting the month it launches, the $49 covers:

• Hosting and the order or booking system
• Fixes if anything stops working
• Menu, service, price and hours changes when you send them
• Backups of your menu, bookings and orders

You pay by Interac e-Transfer each month, and most banks let you set it to repeat. Cancel any time with 30 days' notice and you get a copy of the site and your data. Your domain stays in your name.

How it works

1. Book it. Within 24 hours I'll email you a form for your menu or services, prices, logo, photos and hours.
2. About 2 to 3 weeks later you'll get a preview link to test it yourself.
3. I set it up with you, in person or on a video call, then we launch.
